Follow the steps below to create Action.
- Click on Action Management link.
2. You will be directed to Action Homepage.
- Select the module, then click Create Action to navigate to Create Action screen.
- Enter Name of the action. If your app supports multiple languages, you will be able to change it to other languages by clicking on icon.
- Select the location where you want to display the button. There are two options you can choose from either Home or Details page.
- Home: the main page that displays the details of Module.
- Details: the page that displays the details of each record.
- Select Action Type (see the list of Action Types in the table below).
Action Type | Description |
Execute Script | When pressing the button, the designated script will be executed. (the text area for entering the Script will appear when you select this Action Type) |
Open Form | When pressing the button, Forms created in each Module will be opened. (the list of avaiable Forms will be displayed when you select this Action Type) |
Execute Workflow | When pressing the button, execute the designated Workflow. The available Workflow will be listed when you select this Action Type) |
Open URL | When pressing the button, navigate to the designated URL. (When select this Action Type, there will be the blank field where you can enter the URL and the target windows.) |
Edit Data | When pressing the button, direct to Edit Layout screen that has been designated in Default Layout or Screenflow. |
Note: For Home Location, there will be three Action Types available for choosing which is Execute Script, Execute Workflow and Open URL; for Details Location, all Action Types will be available for choosing.
7. Select the desired Module Relation where you want the button to be displayed above it.
