Create Record

Assume that you want to create new related Opportunity with Stage field value as Open when Account is created.

Module: Account, Opportunity

Event: Create

Condition: None

Action: Create new related opportunity with Stage value as Open


Follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Workflow Homepage and select module Account.
  2. Click Create Workflow.
  3. Name your workflow and enter execute order.
  4. Select Create for Record Event.
  5. Click on Actions tab and click on create action
  6. Select create record for Action Type.
  7. Select Opportunity module – module that you want to create the record.
  8. Set Field – define the field value for the record that you want to create.
  9. Click Save.
