Assume that you want to create new related Opportunity with Stage field value as Open when Account is created.
Module: Account, Opportunity
Event: Create
Condition: None
Action: Create new related opportunity with Stage value as Open
Follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Workflow Homepage and select module Account.
- Click Create Workflow.
- Name your workflow and enter execute order.
- Select Create for Record Event.
- Click on Actions tab and click on create action
- Select create record for Action Type.
- Select Opportunity module – module that you want to create the record.
- Set Field – define the field value for the record that you want to create.
- Click Save.
